OS O.S. MAX 91HZ-R Ring
This version of the Max 91HZ series utilises a completely different system for supplying and regulating the the fuel supply to the carburettor and is called DRS (Demand regulator system). Unlike the Max 91HZ-PS, the Max 91HZ-R utilises a pressure bleed from the crankcase to pressurise the main fuel tank. The pressurised fuel feed is then regulated by a newly designed regulator that is well isolated from the heat of the engine through its mounting position. That regulated fuel supply is then feed into the new 61E carburettor.The serious 3D flier now has the choice between a mechanically pressurised fuel system (Max 91HZ-PS) or the tank pressurised system in the Max 91HZ-R.
It is purely a matter of personal choice for the pilot. What other manufacturer gives you that level of choice in one engine size?Mechanically, the Max 91HZ-R is identical to the other engines in the Max 91HZ range.

OS O.S. MAX 105HZ
The biggest, pure helicopter engine that OS have ever made delivers the levels of torque and power demanded by top fliers for both F3C and sport applications.The 15% increase in capacity offers a big increase over the .91 class engines yet still fits in mounts designed for that class. Modification to the cooling shroud is also unlikely.The distinctive 'blue anodised' cylinder head distinguishes the 105HZ engines from the 91HZ series yet retains the HZ series styling overall. General internal design is very similar to the 91HZ series and draws on OS's deep experience in creating the best helicopter engines for all classes.

OS O.S. FS-62V w/F-4050 Silencer
The second engine in the new 'V' series of O.S. four strokes is targeted at both sports and scale modellers alike.Like the FS-95V, the FS-62V has the same 'classic' overall design that appeals to scale modellers that like their engines to remain in character with the model. The performance, on the other hand, is very much 21st Century and builds on the O.S. tradition of constant technological advancement with each new range. In the case of the 'V' series, there is also a strong emphasis on value for money.The carburettor remains as the twin-needle type for both power and throttle response and the 'Jet Stream' generation silencer allows both flexibility of orientation as well as effective sound reduction.By sharing the same mounting bolt pattern as the FS-52 Surpass and FSa-56, mounting the FS-62V as a direct replacement is easy and convenient.The angled pushrod and valve layout allows a better shape of combustion chamber, providing better power and efficiency.
The cylinder head is also made from a special alloy that is different to the crankcase to balance durability against reduced weight. The first in a completely new series of four stroke engines aimed squarlely at the sport and scale modeller.Stying is deliberately 'retro' and in keeping with the style of the very first OS four strokes. The original FS-120 had twin rocker covers and so do many full size engines in older aircraft. But 'retro' stying does not mean 'retro' technology! The FS-95V is a sophisticated piece of kit, delivering strong power and torque and offers a cost effective alternative to the FSa-81.The 60P carburettor is a twin needle design for great throttle response and reliable idling.
